Penny Pinching Bride

Chic for cheap... it can be done! We are on a tight budget and all I can find are people who say... "figure out what family members are going to pay for what and set your budget" or "the cost of the meal should be at least $20 a plate"... that is not realistic for us. I wanted to set up a one stop shop for brides like me... on a shoe string budget with tons of great ideas! There are a few sites out there but honestly if we break down their budgets it doesn't add up!

Choice 2: Monterey Jacks

My Dad and favorite Uncle Matt (there is a story with a Pony that has won him this status) and Aunt Marry own this bar.

Positives:

Cost - I just cannot beat it
There is already a pit for a pig roast
The date would not be an issue... its mine when I want it... basically
Alcohol would be easy to get - they have connections ;)
Might be perfect for the Rehersal dinner or batcholarlet party/batcholar party

Downsides:

The location is far out for the family of groom
Hotel locations are at least 15-30 miles away
Mud and porta potties
It might be hard to get photos without the local landscape
