We have a date!!!

As of October 7, 2012 Will and I will be husband and wife. I wanted our date to be 10-11-12 BUT the 11th is a Thursday and it would not have been easy for our families to be part of our event. So instead  we will do Columbus Day Weekend 2012 it is! Details coming soon!

Invitations

Idea #2:  $162.00

  • Greeting cards from Walmart.com ($0.36 each - 200 total) = $72.00 +
  • Postage  ($0.45-just in case there is an increase between now and then) $90
  • = $162.00
Q: Why from Walmart.com?
A: I looked on four different sites to check prices and walmart.com seems to be the best bet.  We have also used them before for our Christmas cards and we were very happy with them!

A wedding on $5,000 budget... can it be done?

After much debate we have chosen to set a budget of $5,000 for our wedding. We see NO reason to spend a small fortune on a wedding when we can save that money and put a down payment on a house. So we are going to do it... follow us as we navigate the land of "affordable" weddings...
